A new version of the polar regional climate model RACMO, version 2.4p1, is now available. It is presented in the article “First results of the polar regional climate model RACMO2.4” recently published.
It includes many new physical parameterizations. Changes particularly impact precipitation patterns on the Greenland ice sheet. Promising results are also shown for Antarctica and the Arctic.
